-Is the session discussion considered confidential?

Yes. There are a few exceptions. Please see the Privacy & Policy page.

-Can I request that my counselor discuss my session with someone else?

If you would like  me to communicate with a third party about our session, I will need you to sign a release of information form.

-What is the difference between a Career Counselor and a Career Coach?

Although licensure is not required in the State of California, Career Counselors have a Master’s Degree in Counseling or a closely related field with supervised practice hours. Career Coaching certificates can be received in as little as one weekend from dozens of providers.

-When is payment due?

Payment is due at the end of each session.

-What methods of payment do you accept ?

Cash, credit card and personal checks are accepted.

-What if I need to cancel an appointment?

I do require a minimum cancellation notice of 24 hours. Please be respectful; I have reserved time for you and have foregone assisting another client.
